Since our launch in 2020, we have photographed 43 weddings in 12 different cities and towns in NC. Between building a team and running a business, we've grown quite the life together. We got married in 2016 and since then have lived in 7 different homes/apartments, adopted three animals, and most recently had our first baby in October 2022. We love to travel and have a goal of visiting all 50 states together in our lifetime. (We've already seen 26/50!). We've done two cross-country roadtrips in a Toyota Yaris. We love going on walks around our neighborhood (dog and stroller in tow). We love our church family and we love the Lord. We have Him to thank for this little business of ours and the wonderful couples that come our way. We are truly so grateful!
We're Erin and Brandon Allenczy, owners of Authentically You Weddings! In 2019 we moved away from our home city (Wilmington, NC) to Asheville. We loved Asheville and though we'd stay there for a while. However God had other plans. Brandon's company eliminated his position in March 2020 (can you guess why?) and that led us to Washington DC. Erin spent most of 2020 and 2021 traveling back and forth from Maryland to North Carolina. She was completely burnt out and exhausted. Wanting to still serve wedding coupes in North Carolina, but not be away from her new home every weekend, Erin decided to launch Authentically You. Since then, we have built a team of awesome photographers to photograph your weddings so Erin can be on the road less and be home more.

Brandon is the first person you'll talk to when you inquire with us. He can tell you all about our packages and our process so you can feel 1000% certain of your decision to hire us before you book! When Brandon isn't chatting with potential clients (like yourself) he's probably working on a spreadsheet for his day job or showing houses for his side hustle. Besides work, he loves to spend time with his family, watch Star Wars and Hockey, skateboard and listen to hardcore, and is always down to talk about God with you over a cup of dark black coffee.
Once you book, you'll be in Erin's hands. She will help you craft a photography timeline for your wedding day which she'll do with a virtual meeting that includes your photographer prior to your wedding day. She is always down to talk on the phone before your planning meeting to discuss any concerns you have! She has photographed over 100 weddings and can give you helpful tips and advice you maybe didn't know you needed. She also handles the editing and makes sure every image has Authentically You feel. When not working, Erin is spending time with her family, dancing in her kitchen, or out antiquing/thrift shopping looking for the next piece of home decor she'll eventually get around to hanging up/displaying.
When Brandon or Erin cannot get to you, Anne will be who you'll hear from! She helps answer any questions you have along the way from planning to editing questions. She also runs our instagram and shares client galleries with vendors. She is a photographer herself in DC and she's been married for almost two years, so she understands what it's like to be a bride and also a photographer! When she's not working with us, she runs her own photography business, frequents local coffee shops, takes long walks through Target, and goes on adventures with her husband and sweet baby girl.
April lives in Wilmington, North Carolina with her husband Adam and two boys. She moved to North Carolina in 2013, eventually making Wilmington her forever home in 2015. She has been photographing weddings since 2010, and also works as a graphic designer! She has many other talents and hobbies such as embroidery, watercolor and printmaking, and enjoys being outside in nature with her family and lovable dog. April is very passionate about photography and is a calming presence for a couple on their wedding day. She loves taking the stress off them and instead bringing a fun energy into the day.
Danielle was born and raised on Long Island, and moved to coastal North Carolina in 2016. She has been photographing weddings since 2020. Growing up, she was inspired by her mother and grandmother, who had many photo albums from over the years. She adores doing life with her husband and two boys. Together they enjoy reading, going to the beach, and spending quality time together! Her passions when it comes to photography include being laid back, helpful, and capturing the most authentic form of the couples she serves. Danielle's goal is to photograph you as YOU!
Blythe is a North Carolina native, and recently moved back to Chapel Hill the area after living in Destin, Florida for the past six years. She has been photographing professionally for five years and counting!
She has two sweet dogs who are her entire world, and on her days off, she adores going on walks and hikes with her fur babies.
Blythe is there to support you in every way possible. If that means helping button your dress, YouTubing how to tie a tie, or whatever the day might bring, she will be there to support you while giving you the photos that you always dreamed of having.
